After many years of friendship and careers made in growing everyone else's brands internationally, we wanted something we could be proud to put our names on and create our legacy. We knew we wanted to create a wine that encapsulates all the amazing things New Zealand has to offer. But what to call it?

The three of us met in Blenheim and discussed our plans over some wines, we talked about the incredibly unique micro-climate of Marlborough, the rich soils of the the region, the abundance of natural beauty, and all the other gifts New Zealand has to offer.

We could only reflect on how lucky we were to be a part of it and try to pay tribute to this Fortunate Land.
